Musical Theatre Singing

Our Musical Theatre Singing Lessons are perfect for those with some basic understanding of singing technique wishing to improve their skills while singing material from Broadway and The West End. During these singing lessons, students will be introduced to a number of techniques and approaches, including acting through song and voice qualities such as twang, sob and belt.


Our classes are taught in a fun and supportive environment and most of the time you will be singing in a group, although occasionally you will have the opportunity to sing on your own to check your progress.

Completely new to singing?

If you’re just starting out, we recommend beginning with one of our Beginners Singing lessons. These friendly beginner courses will help you learn the basics of how your voice works so you can start exploring and developing your own unique sound.

Musical Theatre Repertoire

Work with carefully selected material from Broadway and the West End, exploring songs that are varied, enjoyable and appropriately challenging.

Vocal Technique

Apply a range of vocal techniques to help develop your range, improve tone and strengthen your overall singing ability.

Acting Through Song

Explore how to connect vocal delivery with character, emotion and storytelling.

Voice Qualities

Develop your understanding of musical theatre voice qualities, including twang, sob and belt.

Ensemble Singing

Spend most of the course singing within a group, developing harmony, timing and musical awareness.

Solo Opportunities

Take occasional solo opportunities within ensemble songs, helping you check progress and build performance confidence.

Our cancellation policy depends on the course you have booked.

 

Weekly courses and one-day workshops
Cancel at least 72 hours before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer to another available date. Cancellations made within 72 hours will receive course credit instead.

 

Intensive courses of five consecutive days or more
Cancel at least 7 days before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will usually receive course credit instead.

 

We are unable to offer refunds for missed classes or non-attendance.
