Hollywood actor and star of hit shows such as Netflix's Sex Education and HBO's Game of Thrones, DeObia Oparei returns to London to run a performance workshop inspiring you to discover your creative self.
From the grassroots of South London to international acclaim, DeObia forged an unconventional path in his career. He has worked with the industry's most exciting talent, including Baz Luhrmann, Tim Burton and Guy Ritchie, and brings his unbridled passion, enthusiasm and ethos to this workshop.
Having honed his craft working with The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and The Royal Court, DeObia will take you out of your comfort zone and enable you to find your power through performance.

Who is this for?
Ideal for actors and those looking to flex their creative muscles, this exhilarating 'BREAKING THE RULES' workshop takes participants on an intense, action-packed, thrill ride into their creative self.
Using games, performance technique, improvisation and scripted elements, DeObia will break down your barriers and empower you to step out of your comfort zone to discover your creative flow. His workshop will help you find your power in performance and beyond.

No Venue
All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
