Michael Vickers

Michael Vickers has a first class BMus (Hons) in Vocal Studies from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and a first class master’s degree in Opera.

As a performer, Michael has worked with eminent conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, Sir Simon Rattle, Takuo Yuasa and Jirí Belohlávek. He teaches a range of genres and specialises in vocal technique and performance, working regularly with professional singers and ensembles across the UK and Europe.

Most recently Michael has performed in the semi-chorus for The Dream of Gerontius with Sir Mark Elder. His credits also include Guglielmo, Cosi fan tutte (Mozart) for Ryedale Festival Opera and John Sorel in The Consul by Menotti.

With classes that are interactive and engaging, opera teacher Michael equips his students with the practical tools they can start applying immediately.
